Early Bird

Hey Guys. I apologize for the wait. I have been really busy with school for the past three and months. I have three blog drafts that I’ve been working on. But in the mean time, I’d like to leave a small tip of advice. As you know, I am a huge advocate of simplicity in all aspects of life. But I struggle, seriously struggle, with maximizing my productivity on a consistent basis from day to day. I recently discovered that I am most productive in the morning, which was a strange realization for me because I dread mornings. But the trick for me is to go to bed extra early and wake up extra early. There’s something about watching the sun relentlessly rise that energizes me like never before. I love it. My mind is clear, focused, and energized; especially after a good breakfast. I snack a granola bar with water, go for 15-30 minute run, grab breakfast, take a shower, and the next two hours are the most productive hours of my day. And if I’m really productive I’ll reward myself with a short guitar session before class. Its absolutely amazing. I don’t feel the need to procrastinate during my super-mornings.
