Two Visits in One Lifetime

This will be a little unusual…. its a poem I wrote in high school. I just found it, and I love it. Enjoy.

I want three pancakes, no two pancakes,

No….. I can’t wait to visit Grana,

Afterwards we leave, we get pancakes.

Dad said that Grana won’t be around for long, and

That the time spent with her is

Precious,

Precious like the fluffiness of a pancake

We sit at her couch… and

She sits at the other couch, She talks once and a while, and Dad smiles and talks

Once and a while too

And then after, I put Blueberry syrup, on Blueberry Pancakes, which is a whole lot of blue.

Dad says that Grana won’t be around for long,

And he promised we would eat blueberry pancakes

Afterwards.
